CHET’s Story

CHET was established as a multi-academy trust in 2014 in order that Linton Village College could sponsor one of its local primaries (Meadow Primary School). Since then the Trust has grown to build on local cluster school relationships with the addition of Linton Heights Junior School in 2016 and the expansion of provision to include wrap-around childcare.

In 2017 the CHET was successful in a bid to open a new presumption primary free school in Red Lodge. The Pines Primary School and Pine Cones Pre-school are opening in September 2018.

CHET People

CHET believes in local leadership and responsibility, which is recognised through the preservation of head teachers and community governance, but believe that institutions are more effective when they work in partnership.
